Presently their operation occupies 30 acres spread over 4 sites in the region. This much space is required to store to 3000+ vehicles in stock at any one time.

Over the last 18 months over £1million has been invested in land and buildings. They recently took delivery of a new Lollini bailer at a cost of over £100,000. This machine is capable of Bailing over 100 scrap cars per day. They have the latest SEDA depolution equipment capable of draining the fluids from vehicles to the proposed End of Life Vehicle Directive Standard. They were the first company in their region to install such equipment.

They have well equipped workshops, separate vehicle repair centre and over 25,000 sq.ft of racking which holds their stock of 50,000 vehicle components.

Parts are sold with the companies money back guarantee. They now offer next day delivery on parts whether locally by their own fleet or nationwide using a contracted courier service.

They operate a fleet of recovery vehicles capable of collecting up to 50 cars per day.

They collect and process damaged vehicles on behalf of many leading insurance companies.

Upon collection, all vehicles are inspected and digital images are taken, these details are then fed into their advanced in house computer system which has been implemented to record and monitor the availability of items as well detailed information regarding all vehicles in stock.

They are a member of the N.S.G. - National Salvage Group a leader in its field of contract salvage buying. Its member companies handle over 100,000 vehicles per year offering nationwide coverage to Insurance companies.

They are also a member of the C.A.R.E group - The Consortium for Automotive Recycling, a partnership with vehicle manufacturers aimed at raising the standard of end-of-life vehicle disposal and recycling in the UK.

They assist their customers in discharging their obligations under increasingly complex environmental legislation. They hold 3 separate waste disposal licenses and a waste carriers license.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
General Requirements
You must be a registered user to bid on any vehicles for sale on doncastermotorspares.co.uk. You also must be over 18 years old and able to form legally binding contracts. By registering on their site you agree to the terms of this agreement, and you re-afirm that agreement every time you bid or make use of any of their site services. Doncaster Motor Spares Ltd may at any time refuse their services (including, but not limited to, bidding, buying, etc.) to anyone at anytime.

Fees
NO membership fee

Buyer Fee
Each item will be assessed a 2.5% “buyer’s premium”, with a minimum £10 buyer fee per vehicle. This means the total cost of the auction item is the high bid amount plus 2.5% (or the £10 minimum if 2.5% of the vehicle amount is less than £10.00).

Late Payment Fee
A fee of £20.00 will be charged against any purchased vehicle not paid for within 5 working days of the vehicle invoice date.

Re-listing Fee
If payment is not received within 10 calendar days, there will be a re-listing fee of £50 or 5% of the bid amount per vehicle, whichever is greater, and may result in exclusion from any future bidding.

Sales Agreement
Once an auction ends on a vehicle, a sales agreement is emailed to the successful high bidder. Upon receipt of the sales agreement, the high bidder will need to sign the sales agreement and agree payment method. Vehicles will NOT be released until a signed sales agreement is returned and payment is received in full and cleared the bank.

Vehicle Documents
They do not supply existing Vehicle Registration Documents (V5s) or MOT certificates with the vehicles unless they specifically state in the Vehicle Details that they will be provided.However, they will normally notify Swansea of the change of ownership to the winning bidder. The name and address notified will be the full name and address given when you registered on their web-site.

Payment
For any winning bid of £500.00 or less, you have to pay the full amount (and any agreed delivery charges) by one of the acceptable credit, debit or charge cards listed below over the phone when they phone you soon after the close of the auction or in person at Doncaster Motor Spares Ltd approved location. For any winning bid over £500.00, you have to pay at least the first £500.00 by one of the acceptable credit, debit or charge cards as a non-refundable deposit. The balance must be paid in full within 3 working days by cash, debit card or other guaranteed payment method.

Company cheque
If you pay by a company cheque, average release time is 7 days after they receive the cheque, as Doncaster Motor Spares Ltd will wait for your cheque to clear the bank. as a non-refundable deposit. The balance must be paid in full within 3 working days by cash, debit card or other guaranteed payment method. If any payment in respect of any goods and/or services is due to us but not paid then interest will be charged on that payment at an annual rate (but with interest accruing on a daily basis) of 4% above the base rate from time to time of National Westminster Plc, such interest to accrue from the due date for such payment until the date of actual payment of all sums outstanding.

Debit Cards are acceptable for any amount.

Non-payment
If you are the winning bidder at an auction close and you subsequently fail to pay in accordance with the contractual terms above, they reserve the right
-To offer the vehicle to under-bidders (next highest first etc) until they have a valid offer and sue you for the difference between your bid and the accepted offer; or
-To re-auction the vehicle and sue you for the difference between your bid and the completed winning bid; or
-To cancel their contract (without any compensation to you).

Vat on Commercials
Vat on commercials will be charged extra to the recorded winning bid.

Storage and Vehicle Removal
Most vehicles sold on their website are located at DMS’s authorized storage facilities. Unless otherwise noted, these facilities allow 10 days free storage from the AUCTION END DATE, not the date Doncaster Motor Spares Ltd or authorised dealer receives payment all vehicles must be transported by the buyer from the storage site where they are stored within fourteen (14) days from the auction. In the event that you fail to assume possession of the vehicle within such time period, and alternative arrangements have not been made with the storage facility, they will consider you to have defaulted with respect to your purchase obligations. Subject to DMS's discretion, you may be excluded from all future bidding. ALL storage fees incurred beyond the vehicle’s “grace period” are payable directly to the storage facility upon collection of the vehicle.

Title
Title will pass when cleared funds have been received in full. Risk in the Lot passes to the buyer as soon as the Lot is sold. Neither the auctioneers nor their servants or agents shall be responsible for any loss or damage of any kind, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, while any Lot is in their custody or under their control following the sale.

Cherished Plates
The winning bidder of a vehicle does not get Title to the Registration Number which will remain their property. If required by us, the winning bidder will take all steps to make the Plate available to us without cost to ourselves

Signwriting on Vehicles
If any vehicle offered for sale has any signwriting they reserve the right to remove or obscure the signwriting before or after the auction.

Bidding Information
If you bid on an item, you are obligated to complete the transaction. Bids are not retractable. Defaulting on a bid will result in a re-listing fee equal to £50 or 5% of the bid amount per vehicle, whichever is greater, and may result in exclusion from all future bidding. On occasion there may be a reserve, or minimum bid placed on an item. If there is a reserve, it will be noted in the item bidding area and it will state "The Reserve for This Item Has Not Been Met". Once the reserve is met, it will then state "The Reserve for This Item Has Been Met". They reserve the right to accept or reject any and all bids, or to withdraw a vehicle from bidding. is your responsibility to review the on-going status of any bid(s) you have made. Whilst their automatic emails are designed to keep you updated about the status of any bids you have made, they cannot guarantee that their systems will provide you with timely and/or complete information on the status of your bid(s). If you do not receive timely automatic email confirmation from us of receipt of a bid, you should assume that the bid has not been received. Doncaster Motor Spares Ltd may accept bids from parties unable to bid in the online auction. In such circumstances Doncaster Motor Spares Ltd accept no responsibility in connection with the commissioning of their staff to bid for any lots. Reserves and commissions given by telephone or other electronic means acceptable to the auctioneers are accepted at sender's risk and must be confirmed in writing before the date of sale and cleared funds must be received in advance of bidding taking place.

Changes in Registration information
If any of the "required information" you gave us on Registration or by later notification, is incorrect or superseded, you are under an obligation to notify us promptly by updating your Registration details by contacting us with the corrected information and, in any event, before submitting any new bids.
