Amersham Auction Rooms, originally known as Pretty & Ellis when formed in 1877, are still specialists in the field of fine art and furniture, valuers and auctioneers.

Knowledgeable, helpful staff are always on hand to provide additional information and estimates of sale prices. A proxy bidding service is also available for prospective buyers who cannot attend a particular sale.

As an alternative to cash, Amersham Auction Rooms accept payment for lots by cheque (subject to guarantee card limits), most debit cards, and all credit cards subject to a small surcharge. Facilities are available for removals and/or storage from Clark�s of Amersham.

Each week a comprehensive catalogue comprising between 350 and 550 lots may be purchased on viewing days. The monthly sale catalogue is available 2-weeks prior to each sale or by annual subscription. A one-minute walk from Amersham railway station. 30/40 minutes on the Chiltern/Metropolitan line from London Marylebone or Baker Street stations
The London airports of Heathrow, Luton and Stanstead are each approximately a 45-minute drive away
