WEEKLY SALES We hold two sales every week, commencing at 6pm on WEDNESDAY and FRIDAY evenings.
OFFICE HOURS Our office is open every weekday from 9am to 5pm. On sale days the office is of course open until the end of the sale (at least 9pm - usually later). We are also open on Saturday mornings from 9am to 1pm.
CONTENT OF SALES Both of our regular weekly sales are normally "general sales". This means all types of vehicles may be entered and sold and there is no minimum reserve value. Typically, each sale will include vehicles of all ages entered by private individuals, car dealerships, car traders and possibly finance companies and the Constabulary. As well as cars, most sales will include both 4x4 and commercial vehicles. Frequently we also have caravans, motorhomes, and other items on offer.
OTHER SALES Motorcycles are offered on the last Friday of every month starting in March and running through to October. Start time 5.30pm. We commenced these sales in 2003 and they are proving popular. There are usually between 25 and 35 entries, made up of scooters, performance, kids bikes, trials and quads, etc.,
Classic Car Auction commenced here in February 2005. They are held three times a year between March and October. Dates to be advised.
At Anglia Car Auctions we aim to make buying or selling a vehicle as easy as possible. We have endeavoured to make our site informative and interesting. In addition to the rules and regulations, we will be providing an updated vehicle list on sale days and, on a weekly basis, a list of some of the vehicles that remain unsold together with the guide price. Another service that we will be providing on a monthly basis is a condensed list of sold vehicles which may give you an indication as to what price you could hope to fetch for your vehicle or what you may be able to buy for your budget.
Buyers Fees An indemnity fee is charged on the purchase price of each vehicle. This covers the purchaser for a period of three months against the vehicle being an undeclared total loss, (i.e. written-off by an insurance company due to accident damage), subject to an outstanding hire purchase agreement or stolen. Details of costs (including VAT @ 17.5%) are indicated below:

Sellers Fees An Entry Fee and Selling Commission are payable as detailed below. If the vehicle remains unsold, only the entry fee is payable.
ENTRY: First entry £15, Second entry £10, Third Entry is FREE.
SELLING: Commission 7% (+VAT) of Sale Price. PLEASE NOTE: There is a Minimum Selling Fee £42 (+ VAT) which covers you for a sale value of up to £600.
