At Apex we conduct two types of Auctions:

Live Auction
The traditional live auction is held on site and is conducted by an auctioneer. Lots are sold in the order in which they appear in the catalogue and title for the item will pass to the highest bidder at the fall of the "hammer". It is also possible to bid on the lots via the live webcast on the internet or by Proxy bid. Please see our section 'How To Bid Live'

Online Auction
The Apex Online Auction is an internet only auction without an Auctioneer and generally lasts two to three weeks. Lots are featured online and bids are taken at any time through the unique Apex interface. Incremental bidding, Autobid and Quick Purchase options are available to the bidder.
