General Antiques and Later Effects Sales
400-600 lots of affordable items including ceramics & glassware, silver & silver plate, antique, modern & costume jewellery, household effects, pictures & prints, antique & modern furniture with prices generally from £5-500. Most of the lots in these auctions come from local deceased estates where a complete house clearance service has been conducted.
Catalogues for these auctions are provided in a simple list form with descriptions of items but without published estimates. Our popular e-subscription service provides advance notice of these sales and the lots list is e-mailed to subscribers prior to the viewing. To subscribe to this free service simply send us an e-mail using ‘e-flier’ as the subject and including your name and contact details.

Viewing is held the day before the sale from 2pm to 7pm and from 9am on the morning of the sale, with the sale commencing at 10am.

Antiques and Fine Art Sales
An offering of the highest quality and most sought after items appearing in our Chester rooms. Categories include fine English, European and Oriental ceramics, Antique and high quality modern jewellery, oil paintings and watercolours, antique furniture including clocks and rugs, Works of Art and other interesting, unusual and decorative lots.
Printed illustrated catalogues are produced a week to ten days prior to the sale and fully illustrated online catalogues appear on internationally known web portals and our own website. If you subscribe to our popular e-subscription service you will be notified when the catalogues are available.

Viewing is normally held as follows three days before the sale: Sunday 10.30am-2.30pm; Monday 10am–7pm; Tuesday 10am-4pm; Sale day 9am-10.45am

Collectors Sales
Areas covered in these sales include: Militaria; Scientific Instruments & Cameras; Dolls & Teddy Bears; Diecast & Tinplate toys including Dinky, Corgi, Bing, Marklin, Hornby etc; Coins; 20th Century Decorative Arts including Royal Doulton and Beswick; Transport memorabilia; Printed ephemera including postcards, autographs & stamps.
Illustrated online catalogues are uploaded approximately one week prior to the sale and notification is sent through our e-subscription service.

Viewing is normally the day prior to the sale 2pm-7pm and morning of sale from 9am.

The Sporting Sale - Guns and Country Pursuits
These specialist offerings cater to an enthusiastic country pursuits audience. They include sporting and game guns, gun and cartridge cases, antiques fishing tackle, sporting art, country clothing and accessories. As Registered Firearms Dealers we are able to take delivery of guns on behalf of deceased estates and ship items on behalf of purchasers. Obviously there are special conditions attached to these sales which we are pleased to discuss on an individual basis.

Directions to Pullman House:

From Booth Mansion, Chester, Wirral and Manchester:

Proceed out of Chester towards Wrexham on the A483 travelling past the law courts, the racecourse and over the River Dee. On approaching the large roundabout take the right hand lane which is signed ‘Saltney A5104’ and is the fourth exit off the roundabout. Proceed along this road for approximately ¾ mile to 1 mile passing through a set of traffic lights and a pedestrian crossing. As you enter Saltney on this same road you pass under the railway bridge and Pullman House is directly on the left hand side, you will see the large signs.

From Wrexham (A483):

Proceed into Chester passing the Chester Business Park, the Kings School and the Grosvenor Nuffield Hospital. On approaching the large roundabout take the left hand lane and take the second exit off the roundabout which is the A5104 to Saltney. Proceed along this road for approximately ¾ mile to 1 mile passing through a set of traffic lights and a pedestrian crossing. As you enter Saltney on this same road you pass under the railway bridge and Pullman House is directly on the left hand side, you will see the large signs.

From North Wales (A55):

Come off the A55 where it is signposted for Broughton and Saltney. Proceed along the A5104 towards Chester passing British Aerospace on your left. Follow the road passing a Shell garage on your right after which you will come to a set of traffic lights – at this point you will see Pullman House to your right. Turn right at the lights into Boundary Lane and left through the gates into The Sidings.
