Shoreham Vehicle Auctions was originally established in the late 1960’s holding car auctions on a site near Shoreham Lighthouse moving to our current premises in Lancing 15 years ago. The site is approximately 4 acres with under cover viewing for up to 100 cars, two Auction halls Valet bay and Restaurant plus an onsite MOT testing station and Service bay open to Trade and Public. We run our own vehicle transporter plus a team of experienced drivers to ensure speedy and efficient collection and deliveries.

We have recently undergone a change in ownership structure and as a result Alan Agate has been brought in as Operations Director. Alan has 35 years experience in the vehicle auction industry and is an accomplished auctioneer. Our friendly experienced staff are always on hand to help you through the process to make your experience both enjoyable and profitable.

The current sales programme consists of two car auctions a week every Monday 7.00pm (Please note as from 26th July evening sales will commence at 6.00pm) and Thursdays 12.00 noon for Cars & Light vans plus a regular Heavy Commercial and Plant sale.

Our vendor and buyer base is varied and extensive having been built on the reputation to offer an unrivalled personal service tailored to suit individual needs still able to compete with the large national auction houses .

Our auction fees to buyers and sellers are competitive since we do not carry the overheads associated with the larger groups giving all our customers greater flexibility.

A computerised office system including specialist auction software is installed offering detailed reporting systems but the majority of our customers rely on the old fashioned personal contact when required.
